Celebrating Nancy Haragan’s Life

This past Sunday, Baltimore lost one of its great champions when Nancy Haragan, the founder of GBCA, passed away. Nancy had an unmeasurable impact on the cultural community, and it goes without saying that she will be very missed. A more extensive and meaningful tribute will come later this week.

A reception to celebrate Nancy’s life is being held this Friday, December 2, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Baltimore Museum of Art in Fox Court. The event is open to the public, and all are welcome and invited to attend. Her family has said that in lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy’s memory can be made to the Nancy Haragan Memorial Fund at the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance. GBCA is at 1800 N. Charles Street, Suite 810, Baltimore, MD  21201.
